Craftsmanship for Quality, Efficient Contract Performance!

Date:10/02/2026

On January 29, 2026, the acceptance certificate for the EPC  contracting project of the LAKE WAKATIPU (Vessel No.:JLZ8230404) accommodation area was officially signed. ContiOcean successfully delivered the full-scope works by virtue of professional technical capabilities, rigorous management and efficient execution. Having deepened its presence in the sector since 2021, ContiOcean has completed accommodation services for 146 vessels to date, further consolidating its industry-leading position.

Launched on December 10, 2025, the project adhered to the core objectives of "high quality, high efficiency, and high safety". Targeting the features of vessel accommodation projects—extensive construction scope, diverse materials and stringent requirements—ContiOcean deployed a 10-member elite team with an average of over 8 years of on-site experience. The team overcame complex conditions such as confined spaces , setting a new industry performance benchmark. The shipowner’s project representative highly praised ContiOcean: "The team excels in both schedule and quality, with meticulous workmanship exceeding expectations – we place full trust in them."

During construction, ContiOcean strictly upheld dual safeguards for safety and quality. It built a comprehensive safety control system of "pre-construction briefing, in-process supervision, post-completion traceability", conducting daily targeted safety meetings for key risks like electrical work, hot work and working at heights. For quality management, adhering to "Craftsmanship Refines Quality", it implemented a closed-loop supervision mechanism. From incoming material inspection to on-site process checks, the whole workflow followed "timely detection – feedback – rectification – re-inspection", ensuring key areas including the recreation lounge, Sammy’s Cafe and captain’s cabin achieved high-quality outcomes integrating functionality and aesthetics.

The project’s successful delivery not only provided the client with an integrated ship accommodation solution blending practicality, comfort and aesthetics, but also fully demonstrated ContiOcean’s full-chain EPC service capabilities. Its one-stop services, covering scheme design, material procurement, on-site construction management and post-completion acceptance, effectively reduced the client’s communication and management costs.

Looking ahead, ContiOcean will continue to deepen its presence in the ship accommodation sector, drive the upgrading of construction technologies and management models through technological innovation, and remain customer-centric. It will provide customized, high-quality accommodation services for merchant and special vessels, continuously enhance ship spatial utilization value and operational efficiency, lead the development of the industry, and set a new quality benchmark in the ship accommodation industry.
